Shorb Christmas Shop

 

The Canton Free Store and Fresh Market, continues to be a vital presence in downtown Canton.  Our success is due to the support from individuals, congregations, and corporate sponsors – like you – in and beyond the Canton area.  Thank you for being part of our work!

 

Our Annual Christmas Shop will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023. This delightful event provides families an opportunity to select brand new toys, clothing and coats for their children who reside in the 44703 zip code.  Over the last three years, we have provided these items to over 3,000 children in the city. 

 

We are asking you to support this event by donating new toys and children’s clothing. We have included a wish list of gifts we hope to collect.  We are also asking you to promote our Christmas Shop by inviting your organization, friends and family to contribute.  We will be providing presents for children ranging in age from birth to 12 years, so gifts of all kinds are welcome.  Financial contributions are also helpful and will be used to purchase additional items.

 

Items collected may be delivered to the Free Store, 120 Cleveland Ave. SW Canton, Ohio, beginning November 1st thru December 14. If you are bringing any large donations, please call in advance so we can prepare for your arrival (330) 455-0153.  Someone will be in the building from 9am-4pm, Tuesday through Friday to receive donations.  If those times are not feasible, please let us know and we will accommodate you.

PS: We’re looking for volunteers to help make Christmas Shop a success. We have volunteer shifts for set-up on Friday, December 15^th from 9am-5pm and for the Christmas Shop on December 16^th  8am-4pm. Call or email me if you’re interested in volunteering!
